Guide to Approaching Women
Most guys think you have to be a very practiced, very smooth, very lucky kind of guy to be able to just walk right up to a woman and start a conversation. This guide to approaching women is going to show you why that not the case at all.
Like most men, you probably dream of being able to just approach women. Have you ever thought about how if you just knew the secrets to picking up women that life would be so much better? Well I have written this guide to approaching women to show you how you can be the guy who is able to approach beautiful women.
Guide to Approaching Women Key 1 – Where the Women Are
To be able to approach a woman, you first have to know where the right women to approach are hiding. If you have ever tried to pick up women in places where the woman is busy doing a task, you will notice how quickly you get shut down. Places like gyms, super markets and other locations where woman are in there to accomplish a purposed are not in the mood to talk to strangers. They are trying to finish their task at hand and leave.
Your odds of approaching a woman successfully will increase dramatically if you approach her in a place that is more conducive to conversations. Places like this are dog parks, book stores, coffee shops, quite bars, organizations, co-ed sports team, etc… Chances are the woman will be in a good mood, relaxed and not rushed, and she will be more open to having an enjoyable conversation with someone new.
Guide to Approaching Women Key 2 – Boomerang Approach
A lot of guys will try to approach women and go straight from the “hi” to trying to get their number or a kiss. This rarely works because it does not give the woman enough time to warm up to you and start her attraction process. Instead of doing this, it is better to use a boomerang approach where you meet her briefly (see other articles on this), and then walk away.
By walking away you will be showing her that you are confident and not needy. In addition, it will make her curious and want to come and chase you causing feelings of attraction. After you have been away for a while (at least 30 minutes), you can approach her again. This time when you approach her, the chances of it going successfully are much, much higher.

Guide to Approaching Women Key 3 – Go Natural
One of the hardest things to do when you approach women is to know what to say. Many of the professional attraction guides cover this subject in great detail so I am just going to briefly go over it here in my guide to approaching women.
Leave those pick up lines at home. The best way you can open a conversation with someone is to observe what is around you and make a witty or funny comment about it, or to ask her a sincere question about it. An example of this is if you see a girl completely trip on some stairs at bar, you could say:
“Don’t feel bad about it. I have seen a lot of girls fall on those stairs tonight but you looked the prettiest doing it.”
It doesn’t have to be the perfect line, just something that will relax her and will open the door to introducing yourself and the conversation. Like the line above, you poke a little fun at her for falling on the stairs, but you disarm and relax her by having a hidden compliment in it. To do this though, you really have to pay attention to what is going on around you and practice thinking of observational conversation starters.
If you don’t practice thinking of starters when you are out, once you see the perfect girl, your mind will go blank and you won’t be able to think of anything. There will be too much pressure on you and chance are you won’t ever try to approach the girl.
Don’t let this happen to you. The more you think about it when you are out, the more easily the starters will come when you need them to. Soon you won’t even have to think about it at all, you will just naturally be able to comment on things.
Approaching women is not hard. With practice and the right set of tools, you can be doing it like a pro. Just remember to practice and you will be a master before you know it.
